All Environmental Services testing and analyses are now conducted in our 10,000 square feet facility effective September 1, 2019.

ABOUT US

Integrated Geosciences Laboratories, LLC (IGL) was founded by a group of Geosciences and Petroleum Engineering professionals that has acquired the PTS Laboratories, Inc. (PTS) operating assets, core analysis and environmental laboratory testing technology and knowhow, as well as their technical personnel that have been responsible for client projects for many years. PTS Labs was a pioneer in applying core analysis testing methodology to environmental remediation projects, and IGL will continue to offer this same level of quality service and data integrity.Some of the technology that is important to core analysis and environmental projects includes PTS developed techniques for handling soft core sediments and soils. With experienced personnel, IGL will carry forth this technology that has taken the industry to new levels of expectations in soft sediment core management. Current staffs have decades of experience with soft sediments and the special techniques required to ensure accurate test results from client samples.

IGL offers the industry the same suite of laboratory testing services that encompass Routine and Special Core Analysis, NAPL Mobility, Soil Properties, Fluid Properties and Geotechnical Properties studies. Services include sample preparation, testing in accordance with established API and ASTM industry protocols, data calculation and final reporting. Our personnel have geosciences degrees that include Geology, Geophysics and Petroleum Engineering, along with decades of experience in laboratory core analysis. In addition, IGL equipment is fully capable of delivering a high level of accuracy from cores we test.

Safety and Quality are also highly important to IGL. Comprehensive safety and quality manuals are in place to ensure our work is performed in a safe environment with the highest level of quality.

Environmental Service

IGL is the world leader in handling and measuring unconsolidated soils and sediments. Our experienced staff routinely deals with the full range of soil types expected from today's complex environmental sites including engineered-materials, man-made materials, ocean, lacustrine and fluvial sediments. We are experts at measuring LNAPL and DNAPL Mobility parameters. IGL holds a valid Soil Import Permit from the USDA and routinely receives soil samples and core from outside the US​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​.

IGL has a proven track record providing core analysis for domestic and international energy companies since 1965. For over four decades the professional staff at IGL has contributed many of the industry standard techniques in use today. Services offered by IGL include Basic Core Analysis, Special Core Analysis, and custom project design using current technologies.
